Answer: About 79% of the Earth is covered by water or ice. 97% of the water on Earth is salty ocean and 2% is frozen. The remaining 1% is available to meet human needs but much less is good drinking water.

Our district services an estimated population of 3890 customers and encompasses more than 425 miles of pipeline. The service area includes the portion of Johnson County that is south of State Highway 50, west of Pettis County, east of State Highway 13 and north of Henry County. PWSD No. 3 also services a small portion of northeast Henry County.
