PROJECTS
Public Water Supply District No. 3 has high expectation for the future of this district. Over the next few years we anticipate completing numerous projects such as drilling a new well, building a new pump station, rehabilitating existing wells.
PWSD No. 3 is excited to announce that we have once again partnered with the Knob Noster State Park. This partnership involves PWSD No. 3 installing water to the Shawnee Campgrounds and wastewater service at various locations throughout the state park. This project would allow the Knob Noster State Park to eliminate their existing wastewater lagoons and water towers. The wastewater will be pumped to the PWSD No. 3 regional wastewater treatment facility by proposed pump stations located along SE DD Hwy. This is a tremendous opportunity for our District and we look forward to the future.
PWSD No. 3 is excited for more development along SE DD Hwy. A new subdivision near the intersection of SE DD Hwy and SE 13 Hwy bypass could potentially bring an additional 210 new water and wastewater customers.
